It started at 17, when Mahdi founded I-Photo Kairouan with friends — an association that organized photography events, sharpened their skills, and helped build a cultural movement in the city. What began as street portraits and community exhibitions grew into something much bigger: documentary work, international art projects, and commissioned photography spanning continents.
